Nike

During my sophomore year at FIT, I was approached by Nike to create illustrated branded logo merchandise for Nike Air Month, to be sold at the flagship Soho store. One of my designs, my "Kiss My Airs" lip design, quickly became popular, selling hundreds of pieces. My aim with this design was to cater to consumers who aren't typically into everyday fitness clothing. I saw this as a chance to connect with the younger consumer demographic, much like myself at the time, living in Brooklyn and seeking out edgier and more illustrated pieces.

The inspiration behind the "Kiss My Airs" design came from the play on the phrase "kiss my *ss," offering a cheeky and edgy twist to the traditional Nike namesake. This successful collaboration with Nike allowed me to reach a new, fashion-forward audience while maintaining the essence of the Nike brand.
